A Hollywood actress more well-known for her string of husbands than body of work, Zsa Zsa Gabor was pulled over in Beverly Hills back in 1989 for an expired license and registration. Impatient for the officer to check records, Gabor up and drove away. When pulled over again, she was asked to step out of the car, and slapped the officer in the face. She was swiftly arrested and charged for battery, disobeying a police officer, driving without license and registration, and driving with an open container of alcohol. She apparently likes her flasks of bourbon.
 



Paris Hilton

After a small baggie of cocaine fell from her purse into the hands of a waiting Las Vegas cop, quick-thinking Paris Hilton claimed that the purse was not actually hers, but that she had actually “borrowed it from a friend.” After having been read a Miranda warning, she then proceeded to muck up her future defense to a felony drug charge by admitting that a variety of other items in the purse were hers: $1300 in cash, lip balm, credit cards, a pack of Zig-Zag rolling papers, and a tablet of Albuterol, an asthma drug. The cocaine, you see, was the property of someone else, Hilton contends.
 


Keanu Reeves

Talk about Method acting: Before tearing down the Los Angeles freeway behind the wheel of a runaway bus in Speed, Keanu Reeves had already built an impressive track record of reckless driving in Southern California. In April 1991, the actor was arrested for failure to drive within a lane (three years following a near-fatal motorcycle accident); a year and a half later he was nabbed for driving without a license. This mugshot chronicles his third arrest, for reckless driving in 1993, for which he was sentenced to two years' probation.
 


Al Pacino

Russell Hantz

CBS “Survivor” contestant, Russell Hantz, was arrested in Lafayette, LA early Friday April 23, 2010. Hantz was charged with simple battery, according to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center’s booking reports. The report says Hantz allegedly pushed someone down onto the pavement. Hantz recently appeared on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.
 


Roger Clinton

Roger Clinton, half-brother of President Bill Clinton, was arrested in Hermosa Beach, California in February 2001 and charged with drunk driving. He avoided jail time by pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
 


Mark David Chapman

Mark David Chapman, who murdered John Lennon in December 1980, posed for this New York State Department of Correctional Services mugshot in July 2010. Chapman, 55, was photographed at the Attica Correctional Facility.
 


Ted Stevens

Senator Ted Stevens posed for this U.S. Marshals Service mugshot in July 2008 after being indicted on federal corruption charges. A jury convicted the Alaska Republican, but his case was later dismissed because of prosecutorial misconduct. Stevens, 86, died in an August 2010 plane crash.
 


Heidi Fleiss

Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss was arrested by Nevada cops in February 2008 and charged with drunk driving, illegal possession of prescription drugs, and driving without a license. According to the Nye County Sheriff, officers were responding to a call about a possible drunk driver when they approached Fleiss, who was at the wheel of a parked SUV. After being asked for her license, the 42-year-old ex-pimp began rooting through her purse when some pills fell out. That resulted in a trip to the local lockup, where Fleiss was booked on misdemeanor charges and freed after posting $1,376 bail.
 


Maribel Delgado

Maribel Delgado, the winner of The Bachelor season 6, was arrested on August 12th, 2010 on a misdemeanor DUI charge after being pulled over just before 1:00AM Thursday in Tampa, Florida. Delgado was asked to submit to a BAC test, to which she refused. As a result of the refusal, she was taken to jail, where she was later released on $500 bail.
 


Sonja Morgan

The Real Housewives of New York City star, Sonja Morgan, was arrested for an alleged DWI in Southampton, New York on May 31, 2010.
 


Snooki

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi looks as if she might have been doing a bit of crying after she was arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J. The "Jersey Shore" cast member's booking photo shows the reality TV star with smeared mascara and tousled hair. Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd said that Polizzi was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after other beachgoers reported she was bothering them. She was processed at police headquarters and released on a summons.
 


Chris Tucker

Comedian Chris Tucker was arrested in April 2005 and charged with reckless driving and fleeing to elude after he did not immediately pull over his speeding 2005 Bentley. Tucker, 33, spent about 30 minutes in a McDuffie County lockup before posting cash bond and being released. According to cops, the 'Rush Hour' star, an Atlanta native, was doing 109 mph on Interstate 20 when clocked by state troopers.
 


Anthony Anderson

Actor Anthony Anderson was arrested in July 2004 for the aggravated rape of a woman who police say was assaulted after being lured into a production trailer on a Memphis movie set. According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Anderson, 33, and Wayne Witherspoon, 42, violated the woman, a movie extra, 'with their hands and took pictures of her while she was nude.' In October 2004, a judge, calling the case 'suspicious,' dismissed the rape charges against Anderson and Witherspoon.
 


Jesse Jackson

Jesse Jackson was arrested by Decatur, Illinois cops in December 1999 and charged with criminal trespass and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection with a demonstration at a local high school. The civil rights activist was protesting the expulsion of six students who were kicked out of school for fighting.
 


Ryan O'Neal

Ryan O'Neal posed for this Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department mugshot in September 2008 after a probation officer visiting his 24-year-old son Redmond discovered methamphetamine in the actor's bedroom. Redmond, on probation for two prior drug convictions, was also arrested and held along with his 67-year-old father on $10,000 bail.
 


Patrick Tribett

Patrick Tribett was nabbed in July 2005 by Ohio cops and charged with abusing harmful intoxicants. The 41-year-old Tribett, it seems, had been huffing spray paint and needed a refill (he was popped after seeking a fresh can at a Bellaire general store). According to police, Tribett's pupils were constricted and he replied slowly to their questions. Tribett, who was previously busted for assault, domestic violence, and inhaling harmful intoxicants, was booked into the Belmont County Sheriff's Office lockup.
 


Donald Frankos

Donald Frankos, the convicted murderer responsible for the legendary urban myth that Jimmy Hoffa was buried under Section 107 at Giants Stadium. Frankos's fantasy, which has been laughed off by federal investigators, surfaced in a 1989 Playboy interview in which he claimed to be part of the hit team that clipped the ex-Teamsters boss in July 1975. Frankos contended that Hoffa's corpse was then cut up, placed in a barrel, and trucked over 600 miles from Detroit to New Jersey. There, the 10-gallon drum was purportedly dropped into a ditch at the Giants Stadium construction site and covered with concrete. Because, of course, there was no suitable place to dispose of a body in the Motor City.
 


Steve-O

"Jackass" star Steve-O (aka Stephen Glover) was arrested in August 2002 for exposing himself during a nightclub performance in Louisiana. Glover allegedly stapled his scrotum to his thigh and also participated in another stunt during which a bouncer slammed a patron's head on the ground.
 


Larry King

CNN personality Larry King was arrested in December 1971 in Miami, Florida and charged with grand larceny. King, 38 at the time, was unable to pay back money he owed a financier he was doing some work for. While a judge threw out the larceny charge because the statute of limitations had run out, King pled no contest to one count of passing bad checks.
 


Lisa Nowak

NASA mission specialist Lisa Nowak made headlines in 2007 when she was charged with attempted kidnapping and burglary with assault related to an incident with crew mate Colleen Shipman. Orlando Police say that Nowak drove 900 miles and donned a disguise before confronting Shipman, who she believed was a competitor for the affections of Navy Cmdr. William Oefelein, an unmarried fellow astronaut.
 


James Traficant

James Traficant, the hairhat-wearing former Ohio congressman, was photographed at the Summit County, Ohio jail in July 2002. The disgraced Democrat was awaiting transfer to a federal prison where he was to serve eight years after being found guilty of racketeering, bribery, and fraud charges.
 


Lindsay Lohan 2010

Lindsay Lohan posed for this Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department mugshot in July 2010 after being booked into the Lynwood Correctional Facility. The actress, 24, was ordered to serve three months in jail after a judge determined that she violated the terms of the probation she was put on following two 2007 DUI arrests.
 


Jennifer Wilbanks

Jennifer Wilbanks, the so-called Runaway Bride, pleaded no contest to a felony count of making false statements about her supposed late-April 2005 abduction on the eve of her overblown Georgia nuptials
 


Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith, former Playboy Playmate of the Year and widow of a rickety billionaire, was arrested on a drunk driving rap in Texas in 1989. After getting popped on the misdemeanor DUI charge, Smith posed for this mugshot snapped by the Houston Police Department.
 


The Big Show

The Big Show aka Paul Wight, the 500-pound wrestling star, was arrested in December 1998 by Memphis cops for allegedly exposing himself to a female motel employee. The criminal case, though, was subsequently dropped due to insufficient evidence. Wight--then billed as The Giant--was in town for a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) event. Wight, 31, now rassles as The Big Show for Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment, which purchased WCW in 2001.
 


Jeffrey Donovan

Jeffrey Donovan star of USA's Burn Notice was pulled over and arrested in Miami Beach for suspicion of drunk driving, Donovan refused a breathalyzer test, he admitted he'd had three drinks earlier, but later said, "The only mistake I made tonight was drinking Benadryl with three glasses of wine." He was charged with a DUI.
 


Josh Brolin

Actor Josh Brolin was arrested in July 2008 by Louisiana cops and charged with interfering with police business. Brolin, 40, in Shreveport filming an Oliver Stone movie about George W. Bush, was at a bar with fellow actors and crew members when police showed up to deal with an allegedly drunk and rowdy patron. According to cops, the "No Country for Old Men" star tried to intervene so he was arrested and booked into the city jail where he posed for this mugshot before posting $334 bond and being released.
 


Kid Rock

Robert James Ritchie (aka Kid Rock) was arrested in October 2007 by Georgia police and charged with misdemeanor simple battery after he and his entourage allegedly beat up another customer at a Waffle House following a post-concert meal.
 


Marilyn Manson

Brian Hugh Warner (aka Marilyn Manson) was charged with criminal sexual conduct after doing the grind on the head of a security guard during a July 2001 concert in suburban Detroit. The rock star pleaded no contest to a reduced misdemeanor charge, for which he paid a $4000 fine.
 


Jennifer Capriati

Jennifer Capriati was arrested by Coral Gables, Florida police in May 1994 and charged with possession of marijuana after cops went to her hotel room in search of a runaway girl. The tennis star settled the misdemeanor charge by agreeing to attend drug counseling.
 


Scott Stapp

Creed frontman Scott Stapp was arrested by Florida cops in July 2002 and charged with reckless driving after his SUV ran off the road before swerving back into the proper lane. The 29-year-old singer was busted when an Orange County Sheriff's deputy happened to be cruising nearby.
 


Vince Neil

Vince Neil, Motley Crue's lead singer, was arrested for drunk driving in Las Vegas in June 2010. He was booked into the Clark County jail.
 


Edward Furlong

Edward Furlong was arrested in September 2004 for public intoxication following a bizarre incident at a Kentucky grocery store. According to the Florence Police Department, the 27-year-old "Terminator 2" star and some pals were in a Meijer store getting rowdy and yanking lobsters out of the chain store's tank. When police arrived, an unsteady Furlong, who smelled of booze, began to "turn around in circles" when an officer tried to frisk him. It is unclear whether Furlong--a PETA/animal rights activist--was trying to free the incarcerated crustaceans. The actor spent a few hours in custody before making bail on the misdemeanor count.
 


Jeffrey Jones

Actor Jeffrey Jones, the grating high school principal from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," pleaded no contest in July 2003 to a felony charge of paying a 14-year-old boy to pose for explicit photos. Jones was sentenced by a Los Angeles judge to five years probation and ordered to register as a sex offender and undergo counseling.
 


Kirby Puckett

Baseball Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett was photographed by Minnesota cops in October 2002 after being charged with sexual assault and false imprisonment. The 43-year-old former Twins outfielder allegedly groped a woman after pulling her into the bathroom of a Twin Cities-area restaurant.
 


Carmen Electra

Tara Patrick (aka Carmen Electra) was arrested by Miami Beach police in November 1999 and charged with battering her then husband, former NBA star Dennis Rodman.
 


Leif Garrett

Seventies teen idol Leif Garrett was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff in January 2006 and charged with possession of heroin. Garrett, 44, was held without bail after deputies discovered an outstanding warrant out for him for allegedly violating his probation after copping a guilty plea in March 2005 to cocaine possession.
 


Barry Bonds

Barry Bonds posed for this U.S. Marshals Service mugshot after he was indicted in November 2007 on federal perjury and obstruction of justice charges. Prosecutors contend that the former baseball star lied to a grand jury when he was questioned about his use of performance-enhancing drugs.
 


Wesley Snipes

In April 2008, actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in federal prison for failing to file income tax returns. The star of "Blade" and, fittingly, "U.S. Marshals," had his mugshot taken by the U.S. Marshals Service.
 


Jack Abbott

Jack Henry Abbott posed for this New York State Department of Correctional Services mugshot in June 2000. Abbott, who wrote the best selling book "In the Belly of the Beast," was paroled in 1981 with the help of author Norman Mailer (he had been serving time for robbery). Weeks after his release, Abbott murdered a man on a New York City street, a crime for which he was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison. Abbott committed suicide in February 2002 at the Wende Correctional Facility.

Vito John Fossella, Jr.

Vito John Fossella, Jr. Is a U.S. Republican politician from the state of New York who formerly represented the state's 13th Congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives for six terms, from 1997 to 2009 serving as the lone Republican from New York City. After a DUI arrest in Alexandria, Virginia on May 1, 2008, followed by the public disclosure a week later that he had an affair with a retired US Air Force lieutenant colonel that had resulted in a 3-year old child while being married, he announced on his official website on May 20 that he had chosen to serve out the remainder of his term, which ended on January 3, 2009, but decided not to run for re-election.
 


Rod Blagojevich

Rod Blagojevich, the former Illinois governor, was arrested in December 2008 after a federal corruption probe. He joined the cast of The Apprentice. After his impeachment, Blagojevich was photographed by the U.S. Marshals Service.
 


Larry Craig

On June 11, 2007, Senator Larry Craig was arrested at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on suspicion of lewd conduct in the men's restroom, where he was accused of soliciting an undercover police officer for sexual activity.
 


Tanya Beyer

After six months as a fugitive, a former Playboy Playmate of the Month has been arrested and jailed in Florida on felony charges of doctor shopping and trafficking in Oxycodone, the powerful painkiller. Tanya Beyer, is being held in the Palm Beach jail on $100,000 bond. Beyer, Playboy's Miss February 1992, was named last August in a probable cause affidavit accusing her of obtaining Oxycodone from three separate doctors.
 


Shepard Smith

Fox News Channel anchor Shepard Smith was arrested by Florida police in November 2000 and charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle after arguing with another reporter over a parking space (both were covering the Bush-Gore Florida vote debacle).
 


Kobe Bryant

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant is pictured in this mugshot taken by Colorado cops on July 4, 2003 following his arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting a 19-year-old hotel employee. Eagle County prosecutors are currently deciding whether to formally file charges against the 24-year-old Los Angeles Laker.
 


Yasmine Bleeth

Former "Baywatch" star Yasmine Bleeth was arrested in September 2001 by Michigan police and charged with cocaine possession. The actress pleaded guilty to one criminal count and was sentenced in January 2002 to two years probation and 100 hours of community service.
 


Lindsay Lohan

This Lindsay Lohan mugshot was snapped in November 2007, after the actress surrendered to serve a brief jail term in connection with a drunk driving conviction earlier in the year. Lohan, 21, spent barely an hour in a Los Angeles lockup before being released. Her new ankle bracelet has breathalyzer technology.
 


Matt Dillon

Actor Matt Dillon was arrested for excessive speeding on a Vermont highway. Dillon, was nabbed by State Police after his car was clocked going 106 mph on Interstate 91. He was fingerprinted and photographed by state troopers, and given a citation to appear at the Orange County court.
 


Dennis Rodman

Dennis Rodman was arrested by Miami Beach police in November 1999 and charged with assaulting his wife, actress Carmen Electra. Charges were dropped later that month. The former NBA star was arrested one month later in California and charged with DWI. In July 2000, Rodman pleaded guilty to drunk driving and driving without a valid license charges. He was fined $2000 and placed on three years probation.
 


Charles Manson

Charles Manson was photographed by the California Department of Corrections in March 2009 at the age of 74. The convicted murderer, serving a life sentence at Corcoran State Prison, will be eligible for parole (for the twelfth time) in 2012.
 


Vanilla Ice

Vanilla Ice (real name: Robert Van Winkle) was arrested in April 2008 by Florida sheriff's deputies and charged with domestic battery after his wife told police he assaulted her.
 


Andre the Giant

Andre the Giant (aka Andre Roussimoff) was arrested by the Linn County, Iowa sheriff in August 1989 and charged with assault after the 540-pound wrestler allegedly roughed up a local TV cameraman.
 


Dennis Hopper

Actor Dennis Hopper was arrested by New Mexico police in July 1975 and charged with reckless driving, failure to report an accident, and leaving the scene. Hopper, 39 at the time, pleaded guilty to the charges and paid a fine.
 


Donnie Wahlberg

New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg posed for this mugshot in March 1991 after Kentucky cops charged him with arson. Wahlberg, 21 at the time, was accused of setting fire to a piece of carpet in a Louisville hotel. The boy band singer subsequently pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of criminal mischief.
 


Joyce DeWitt

Actress Joyce DeWitt who played Janet on the 1970s TV show "Three's Company," was arrested by California cops in July 2009 and charged with suspicion of drunk driving. El Segundo police stopped DeWitt, 60, after she allegedly drove around a barricade at an annual city July 4 fireworks show. After failing a series of field sobriety tests, she was taken to the El Segundo jail where she posed for this mugshot before being cited and released.
 


Ron Artest

Temperamental NBA star Ron Artest was arrested in March 2007 on a spousal abuse rap after police responded to his California home following a 911 call from the athlete's wife. The Sacramento Kings forward, who was charged with domestic violence and using force to keep a victim from reporting a crime, was booked into the Placer County jail, where this mugshot was snapped. He was released after posting $50,000 bail.
 


Kiefer Sutherland

This Kiefer Sutherland mugshot was snapped by the Glendale Police Department in December 2007 after the actor surrendered to serve a 48-day jail sentence. Sutherland, 40, pled no contest in October to driving while over the legal limit of .08. It was the second time in three years that the star of "24" was busted for DUI.
 


Lawrence Taylor

Ex-football star Lawrence Taylor posed for this mugshot on May 6, 2010 after being arrested for the alleged statutory rape of a 16-year-old female runaway. Police allege that Taylor, 51, paid the girl $300 for sex in a suite at a Holiday Inn in Rockland County, New York. The former New York Giants star, who was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1999, faces up to four years in prison if convicted of the felony charge.
 


Suzanne Somers

Actress Suzanne Somers was arrested by San Francisco police in March 1970 and charged with passing bad checks. The "Three's Company" star, 23 at the time, avoided prosecution by paying back the money she owed.
 


Randy Quaid

Randy Quaid was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail in April 2010 after he and his wife arrived for a criminal court appearance two weeks late. The actor and his wife have previously been charged with defrauding an innkeeper, burglary, and conspiracy. Quaid, 59, was released after posting $100,000 bail.
 


Jason Kidd

NBA star Jason Kidd was arrested by Paradise Valley, Arizona police in January 2001 and charged with domestic abuse. Kidd pleaded guilty and was ordered to attend anger management classes.
 


Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra was arrested by the Bergen County, New Jersey sheriff in 1938 and charged with carrying on with a married woman (yes, you could get popped for that back then). The charge was later changed to adultery, and eventually dismissed.
 


Deion Sanders

NFL star Deion Sanders was arrested in June 1996 by Florida cops and charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Lee County Port Authority Police caught Sanders, who played for the Dallas Cowboys at the time, fishing on a lake owned by the Southwest Florida International Airport. The 28-year-old defensive back had ignored "no trespassing" and "no fishing" signs posted on the property as well as an earlier law enforcement warning to stay away from the lake.
 


Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton was arrested on a drunk driving charge in Los Angeles in December 2007. The actress, 21, was nabbed by sheriff's deputies in West Hollywood after her vehicle was spotted "straddling two lanes of traffic" and she failed to signal when making a turn. She was found to have been driving under the influence and without a license. She was booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, where her bail was set at $10,000.
 


Daniel Baldwin

Actor Daniel Baldwin was arrested in November 2006 on drug possession and auto theft charges. Baldwin, was nabbed by cops in Santa Monica, California after he allegedly took a friend's SUV without permission. A subsequent check of his motel room turned up narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Baldwin was booked into an Orange County lockup.
 


Wynonna Judd

Country singer Wynonna Judd was arrested in November 2003 for drunk driving. Following a traffic stop, Nashville cops detected the smell of booze on the 39-year-old performer, whose eyes were watery and dilated. After consenting to a Breathalyzer, Judd blew a .175--more than twice the Tennessee limit.
 


Macaulay Culkin

Macaulay Culkin was nabbed in Oklahoma for possession of marijuana and two controlled dangerous substances (Xanax and sleeping pills) for which he did not have a prescription. The bleary-eyed actor, 24, posed for this Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office mugshot following a traffic stop of his buddy's car in September 2004.
 


Leona Helmsley

Hotel magnate Leona Helmsley was photographed by the United States Marshals Service in April 1988, the same day she pleaded not guilty in Manhattan federal court to income tax evasion charges. Helmsley, 67 at the time, was later convicted and spent about 18 months behind bars.
 


Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley was arrested by Florida police in October 1997 and charged with aggravated battery and resisting arrest for hurling an Orlando bar patron through a plate-glass window. The NBA Hall of Famer, who was playing for the Houston Rockets at the time, spent a few hours in an Orange County Sheriff's Office lockup, where he posed for this mugshot. Barkley, 34 at the time of the incident, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and was sentenced to community service and ordered to pay $320 in fines and court costs.
 


Gary Dourdan

"CSI" star Gary Dourdan was arrested by California cops in April 2008 and charged with possession of cocaine, heroin, and Ecstasy. According to Palm Springs police, the 41-year-old actor was found passed out behind the wheel of his car at around 5 AM and appeared disoriented and possibly under the influence of either alcohol or drugs when awoken. After a search turned up the drugs, Dourdan was booked into the local jail, where he posed for this mugshot and was later released after posting $5000 bail.
 


Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey was arrested by Austin, Texas police in October 1999 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a neighbor called to complain about music blaring from the actor's crib. When cops arrived, they found McConaughey dancing around in the buff and playing bongo drums. The drug charges against McConaughey were eventually dropped, though the star did plead guilty to violating Austin's noise ordinance, for which he paid a $50 fine.
 


John Mayer

Musician John Mayer was arrested by Georgia cops in May 2001 for speeding and driving without a license. The incident went unreported until August 2009, when the guitarist offered a charity bounty for the unearthing of this Atlanta Department of Corrections mugshot.
 


Frankie Valli

Frankie Valli was arrested by Columbus, Ohio cops in September 1965. The poor crooner apparently got popped after his manager skipped out on a hotel bill in a neighboring town.
 


Vincent Margera

Vincent Margera, better known as Don Vito on the MTV show "Viva La Bam," was arrested by Colorado cops in August 2006 and charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child.
 


Robert Downey Jr.

In November of 2000, actor Robert Downey Jr. was arrested at the Merv Griffin Resort in Palm Springs for drug possession.
 


Steve McQueen

Legendary musician Jerry Lee Lewis was arrested by Memphis police in November 1976 and charged with public drunkenness and gun possession. Lewis, 41 at the time, was at Graceland waiving around a gun and demanding to see Elvis Presley when a guard called police on The Killer.
 


Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh surrendered to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in April 2006 after being charged with doctor shopping. According to investigators, the 55-year-old Limbaugh bounced from doctors in a bid to secure multiple prescriptions for powerful painkillers like OxyContin.
 


Axl Rose

Guns N' Roses lead singer, Axl Rose, was arrested by Arizona cops in February 1998 and charged with verbally abusing an employee of Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. Rose, who cursed and shook his fist at a supervisor who wanted to look at his bags at a security checkpoint, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace.
 


Tracey Gold

Actress Tracey Gold, who starred in TV's "Growing Pains" and famously went public with her anorexia battle, was arrested in September 2004 for drunk driving after rolling her SUV--carrying her husband and three young boys--down a California freeway embankment. The 35-year-old Gold, pictured below in a Ventura County Sheriff's Office mug shot, was busted by California Highway Patrol officers and charged with a felony count of driving under the influence causing injury.

Swindler Bernard Madoff was convicted in March 2009 of orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, a decades-long scam that bilked investors of more than $50 billion.
 


Michael Lookinland

Child actor Michael Lookinland, who starred as Bobby Brady in the "Brady Bunch," was arrested in November 1997 by Utah cops for drunk driving after losing control of his Ford Bronco.
 


Billie Holiday

Jazz great Billie Holiday was photographed by Bureau of Prisons officials in May 1947. Holiday, 32 at the time, was locked up for eight months in the federal prison in Alderson, West Virginia on a drug conviction.
 


Yanni

New Age musician Yanni was arrested in March 2006 by Florida cops and charged with domestic abuse after allegedly tussling with his live-in girlfriend. The 51-year-old pianist (given name: John Yanni Christopher), allegedly struck the woman after ordering her to move out of his waterfront mansion. According to a Manalapan Police Department report, the musician also dished out some verbal abuse. Cops noted in their report that the woman's upper lip was swollen and split open and that there was a small amount of dried blood on her lower lip as well as redness on both her forearms. Yanni, who denied striking her, spent about 11 hours in the Palm Beach County jail, where he posed for this mugshot.
 


Richie Sambora

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was arrested in March 2008 by California cops and charged with misdemeanor drunk driving. According to Laguna Beach police, Sambora's Hummer was seen weaving near the Pacific Coast Highway and after pulling him over an officer smelled alcohol on the breath of the 48-year-old rocker.
 


Hank Williams Jr.

Country singer Hank Williams Jr. surrendered to the Shelby County Sheriff in April 2006 on a warrant issued by a Tennessee court charging him with assault to commit bodily harm. According to cops, the 56-year-old musician (given name: Randall Hank Williams Jr.) allegedly choked and verbally abused a 19-year-old Memphis hotel waitress in a bizarre incident.
 


Heather Locklear

Actress Heather Locklear was arrested by the California Highway Patrol in September 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs. After receiving a call from a motorist who saw the 47-year-old Locklear driving erratically, officers found the TV star parked on the side of a road blocking traffic. She was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail where she posed for this mugshot before posting $5000 bail.
 


Vince Vaughn

Vince Vaughn was arrested by North Carolina cops in April 2001 and charged with fighting in public for his part in a brawl outside a New Hanover County bar (the movie star was in town working on the film "Domestic Disturbance"). During the melee, fellow actor Steve Buscemi was stabbed several times. Vaughn entered a no contest plea and the minor charge was dropped six months later.
 


Dawn Wells

Gilligan's Island star Dawn Wells, who played the role of Mary Ann on the 1960s sitcom, posed for this Teton County, Idaho mugshots after pleading guilty in February 2008 to one count of reckless driving. Wells, 69, was arrested in October after cops allegedly observed her car swerving and speeding up and slowing down repeatedly. A search of her vehicle revealed two small cases used to store marijuana as well as four half-smoked joints. As part of her plea deal, Wells was sentenced to five days in jail, six months probation, and fined $410.50.
 


"Dog" Chapman

Bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman posed for this mugshot after his June 2003 arrest in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Chapman, 50 at the time, was charged with felony restraint after he traveled south of the border to track down Max Factor cosmetics heir Andrew Luster, who had jumped bail and fled the U.S. in the middle of his California rape trial. According to Mexican authorities, as Luster was being stuffed into a car by Chapman and his cohorts, the reality TV star announced, "You can never escape from the Dog." In August 2007, a Mexican court dismissed all charges against Chapman because the statute of limitations had expired.
 


Haley Joel Osment

He sees drunk people. Actor Haley Joel Osment was charged with drunk driving and marijuana possession after he crashed his 1996 Saturn station wagon while returning home from a Los Angeles concert in July 2006.
 


Paul Reubens

Paul Reubens (aka Pee-wee Herman) turned himself in to Los Angeles police in November 2002 after being charged with misdemeanor possession of kiddie porn. It was not the first run-in with the law for the 50-year-old actor, who was arrested by Florida cops in July 1991 and charged with indecent exposure. Pee-wee, who was nabbed at an adult movie house, later pleaded no contest to the charge. He was fined, had to pay court costs, and ordered to produce an anti-drug public service announcement.
 


Glenn Frey

Back in May 1973, Eagles guitarist, Glenn Frey was arrested by Columbus, Ohio cops on drug possession and public intoxication charges.
 


Johnny Cash

The Man in Black, Johnny Cash, was arrested in October 1965 at the El Paso International Airport after U.S. Customs agents found hundreds of pep pills and tranquilizers in his luggage as he returned from a trip to Juarez, Mexico.
 


Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson was arrested in December 2006 on drunk driving and cocaine possession charges following a police stop outside an Arizona nightclub. Tyson, 40, was pulled over when his BMW nearly struck a sheriff's cruiser after he left a Scottsdale bar.

John Osbourne (aka Ozzy Osbourne) was arrested by Memphis cops in May 1984 and charged with public intoxication.

Once stopped, police noted that Rourke had bloodshot eyes and smelled of booze. He also didn't perform well on a series of sobriety tests.

Vince Shlomi, better known as The ShamWow Guy, was arrested in February 2009 after he got into a bloody hotel room fight with a Miami hooker.
 


Tonya Harding

Olympic skater Tonya Harding was booked into a Clark County, Washington lockup in February 2000 on a domestic violence charge after she punched and threw a hubcap at a former boyfriend. Harding, best known for her role in the 1994 attack on skating rival Nancy Kerrigan, was sentenced to three days in jail and 10 days of community service.
 


Gary Rossington

Lynyrd Skynyrd co-founder Gary Rossington was arrested by Georgia cops in September 2008 and charged with two counts of DUI as well as a traffic violation. According to Milton police, when they arrived at the scene of a two-car accident they found the 56-year-old guitarist smelling of booze, slurring his speech, and unsteady on his feet. Subsequent Breathalyzer tests showed Rossington's blood alcohol content was over the state's .08 legal limit. He was booked into the Alpharetta jail.
 


Tawny Kitaen

Actress Tawny Kitaen was arrested by Newport Beach, California police in April 2002 and charged with spousal abuse and battery on her husband, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Chuck Finley.
 


Janis Joplin

Janis Joplin was arrested in November 1969 in Florida and charged with disorderly conduct after yelling obscenities at police officers during a Tampa concert. Charges were later dropped after it was ruled that the singer's actions were an exercise of free speech.

Dick, 44, was busted in Huntington, West Virginia after allegedly groping the crotches of two men after his performance at the Funny Bone comedy club. Dick, who was booked into the Western Regional Jail, was released after the club's manager posted his $60,000 bail.
 


"Rip" Torn

Actor ``Rip'' Torn has been charged with breaking into a Connecticut bank and carrying a loaded handgun while intoxicated.
State police say the 78-year-old resident of Salisbury, Conn., was arrested Friday night after police found him inside Litchfield Bancorp with a loaded revolver.
Charged with burglary and possession of firearm without a permit, the Men in Black actor is being held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled for a court appearance Monday.

Hugh Grant

An oldie but a goodie.

Actor Charlie Sheen was arrested by Aspen, Colorado police in December 2009 on a domestic violence charge that includes felony assault, felony menacing, and misdemeanor criminal mischief counts.He was booked into the Pitkin County Jail where he posted an $8500 bond.
